Long Time, No See

I haven't posted in quite a while for a couple of reasons.  First, I have been (and will continue to be) extremely busy with student teaching.  The days are flying and I'm trying to grasp them as the slip by.

Secondly, I don't have much to report.  My last cycle was a ridiculous 45 days long.  It is disappointing that my body immediately went back to its old ways, but there isn't anything I can do about it.  I'm lukewarm about foster/adopt again.  Like I said, I'm so busy that I don't have a whole lot of time to sit around and worry about it...which is obviously good for me.  At this point, I feel like we should not pursue anything.  If we get a call about a private adoption, fabulous.  If I (somehow) get pregnant, miraculous.  Otherwise, we'll carry on with life and try not to think about another baby every minute of every day.

Thankful

I'm thankful that I didn't get too invested in the private adoption situation we were told about last week.  My husband ran into the contact person and asked if he had spoken to the birth mother.  He said he hasn't and that his relationship with the family is not a good one at this point.  It is clearly not going to amount to anything, especially since she is due next month.
